Everyone's love story is different, each holds the hopes, love and dreams for a couples future. We had the privilege of getting to know Lyndel and Seamus over eight months prior to their special day, learning about what was important to them, the love they have for one another and the ones closest to them. It was clear from the start that their day was carefully curated so that everyone would have fun and each element was considered with their guests in mind. Two people with the biggest hearts and a love for each other that felt destined from their first meeting in primary school.

Our day started with a visit to Lyndel and Seamus's home, where the boys where getting ready. Or so we thought...It's always slightly amusing to see the difference between the groomsmen and bridesmaids, with one group stepping out of the shower and the other sipping champagne ready for our arrival, we'll let you come to your own conclusion on which is which. A few last minute alterations on the sewing machine, the help of six groomsmen and Seamus was ready!

The Euroa Butter Factory

Built in 1901, the Euroa Butter Factory is only a short stroll from the towns centre and provided the most beautiful backdrop for not only the bridesmaids getting ready but for the reception. This grand building has been restored from a butter and ice cream factory into a beautiful country retreat, perfect for a weekend away or an event. Lyndel and her closest friends stayed here overnight, getting ready in the mornings in rooms which transported you back to another time.

Lyndel and Seamus chose to be married at St John the Evangelist Church, Euroa. A beautiful building with cathedral ceilings, stained glass windows and the opportunity to shoot from the second floor. The newly weds exited the church to rose petals and a vintage Jag waiting to whisk them back to the Butter Factory.

This day for us as a team was made so fun due to the bridal party and the energy they brought. They welcomed us, made us feel so comfortable and had us laughing from the minute we met. The entire party of 14 had either known each other from birth (brothers & sisters) or from primary school. To say they were close knit is an understatement and it was a joy to observe each close bond during the day! I think you will be able to feel the energy of these wonderful souls through the screen and witness for yourself how Lyndel and Seamus light up around them.

We could go on all day about what made this day so special but instead we will conclude by thanking Lyndel and Seamus for trusting us to capture their special day. It is always the greatest honour as a creative team to be asked to photograph a wedding, to be chosen to play a small part in a couples love story. From the bottom of our hearts thank you, we are so grateful to have contributed to your day and wish you all the happiness that life brings.
